Every 60 seconds, a child dies from preventable waterborne diseases. Many of these unsafe water sources are in the remote and rural corners of our world. Lack of safe water impacts all areas of life. Our passion for humanitarian causes—locally and around the world—is essential to our success. In fact, we believe so strongly in paying it forward, we donate 10% of our profits to charities that give hope to families in great need.
|HAND OF HOPE|
|Well of Life||Kaleru, a small village in India made up of farmers and day laborers, was struggling to keep clean water available to its 3,600 inhabitants. It had two sources—one open well nearly half a mile from town, and municipal pipelines that delivered water for only half an hour a day. Many of Kaleru’s residents simply couldn’t collect enough water. Through our Well of Life project sponsorship, we were able to respond to the villagers’ needs and bore a well. On January 21, 2018, the well was officially dedicated to the people of Kaleru.|

|Shivam||Shivam is the second child HMX has sponsored. He lives with his single father, who is employed, but still living in poverty. Their community in India is very poor, with most living in wooden dwellings with thatched roofs and dirt floors. Shivam’s diet mostly consists of rice, possibly with some vegetables or beans. It’s a simple life full of simple struggles. Through our sponsorship, we’re able to provide him with everything he needs to live the life every child deserves—nutritious meals, quality education, and basic medical care.|
